Disa Atilano is a 5th grade student at Erickson Elementary and is a great example of a student who is SOARing each and every day. Disa’s 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Sliwa stated that Disa is kind, helpful, and persevered at all things. She was a good friend, easy to get along with, and always cared for others. Disa always made your day a little brighter. She is a great example of what being an Eagle is all about! Mr. Jura said that Disa is one of the kindest and most hardworking students he’s had the pleasure of working with. Miss Caskey stated that Disa is always smiling and goes above and beyond by always asking how she is doing and inquiring about her day. Disa’s 4th grade teacher, Miss Krzoska, said that Disa was a joy to have in class. She would always come in with a smile on her face, ready to work hard, and cared about her classmates and everyone around her. Disa was always the first one to help or volunteer in the classroom and she had a positive attitude that inspired other students. Disa’s 5th grade teacher, Mrs. Paoletti stated that Disa is always respectful and works so well with others. She tries her best in everything she does and is a great citizen in the classroom!
