Mrs. Heitkam's Classroom
My name is Sara Heitkam. I live in Bloomingdale with my husband, Jeremy, and son, Ethan. I have worked at Erickson since 2012. I have been a special education paraprofessional, 1st grade paraprofessional, Kindergarten teacher, and 1st grade teacher.
I earned my Associates degree in Education from Highland Community College in Freeport, IL in December 2001. I moved to DeKalb, IL in 2002 and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education Northern Illinois University in December of 2003.
