Mrs. Manning's Page

Hello!  My name is Kristan Manning and I am the Blended Preschool teacher at Erickson.  My first year in the district was 2021, however I began teaching in 2005!  

 

I went to Northern Illinois University from 1999-2003...a fun fact is I played basketball all 4 years of college and I am in the top 20 in career points! I graduated NIU with a Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education.  I also have my ESL endorsement, Special Education approval, Masters of Science in Literacy Education with a focus on ESL/Bilingual, as well as my Elementary Endorsement. 

 

Outside of school I am busy with my 3 children(Donovan, Marcus and Mia) and my husband, Marty, is an Athletic Director at a high school.  My children are all very active in sports and we are constantly on the go! We live in Schaumburg and I LOVE being so close to where I work.
